Shimbhu lal and the rest of us started this goat farm in Makarwadi because we had the space and the interest. It’s located right here in Ajmer, 305004. We spend a lot of time with the animals, making sure they are fed and have enough water. Taking care of goats isn't always easy, they can be stubborn and get into things they shouldn't. But we like the work. Our days start early, usually before the sun is even up properly. We check on the pens and make sure everything is secure. It's a dusty job, and our clothes usually show it by noon. We aren't some big corporation with suits; we are just people who know about goats. Makarwadi is a decent place for this kind of thing. We have been here for a bit and the locals know where to find us. It’s just Ganpat lal’s son and a few others putting in the hours. The farm keeps us on our toes. Sometimes a fence needs fixing or the feed delivery is late, and we just deal with it as it comes. It's not a glamorous life, but it's ours. We don't spend much time in the city. We'd rather be out here. There is always something to do, whether it's cleaning or checking the health of the herd. It is just basic work. We enjoy the quiet nights once the work is finally done.
