Arvind Marbles

We’ve been here at G-108 on the Kishangarh Jaipur Bye-Pass for quite some time now. Dealing with marble isn't easy work, it's heavy and dusty most days of the week. We spend a lot of our time moving slabs around the yard and making sure everything is where it should be. The bypass gets busy with trucks, but it makes it easy for people to find us when they are heading out of Jaipur. Most of our days are spent talking to contractors or homeowners who just want to see what we have in stock. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just a yard where we keep the stone. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, especially when it's really hot out, but we still show up and get the loading done. People usually come by because they heard about us from a neighbor. We try to keep things simple. If we have the marble you want, we tell you, and if we don't, we say that too. It’s just how we do things here. The slabs come in, we stack them up, and then they go out to different building sites. It is straightforward work. No one here wears a suit, we are usually just covered in stone dust by noon. That is just life at Arvind Marbles. We keep the gates open and wait for the next delivery to arrive and the cycle starts again.
