Ankita Tiles

We operate out of the Parbatpura Industrial Area, right across the road from the HDFC Bank. Being in an industrial zone means it's always noisy with trucks and heavy machinery moving around nearby. Our shop, Ankita Tiles, is mostly about storing and moving large quantities of flooring materials. The ground is often covered in fine stone dust and the smell of cement isn't far away. We keep the inventory organized as best as we can, but with new shipments arriving and orders going out, the piles are always changing. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or homeowners who are looking for something durable for their floors or walls. We have a lot of different patterns, but we don't try to push one over the other. People just look around and decide what they like for their own projects. It is a no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have fancy brochures or a marketing team. If you need tiles, you come in, look at the stacks, and we figure out how many boxes you need. The heat in the warehouse can get pretty intense, so we usually have a water cooler going for anyone who stops by. It’s just us working hard in the heat to get the orders ready for transport. Some days are longer than others depending on the delivery schedule, but we stay until the last truck is loaded.
