Our office is called Om Kutir, located on 5th Street in the New Colony area of Hari Gunj. If you know where Petrol Pump No 9 is, we’re just a short walk from there. It’s a bit quieter here than in the main market, which we like. We started this publishing thing because we liked books and wanted to see more of them around. It’s a small team, just a few of us handling everything from the first draft to the final copy. The building is an old style house we converted into a workspace. It’s cozy but gets a bit cramped when we have a big order to deal with. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. Most of the time, the phone is ringing or someone is dropping off a new manuscript for us to read. We have a small storage room in the back that's always overflowing with boxes. Sometimes we lose track of time because we’re so busy with the layout work. The neighbors are used to the delivery bikes coming and going now. We try to keep things organized, but there's always a pile of something on every table. It’s just how we work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny office, we just want to get the books out. It's a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is kept.
