You can find us on Kutchery Road, right on the first floor in Shop No. 56. We sit directly opposite the Allahabad Bank, which makes it easy for people to find us when they’re coming for the first time. The stairs up to the shop are a bit narrow and steep, so you have to watch your step. Once you’re inside, it’s mostly just stacks of paper and books waiting to be bound or sent out. It’s a bit of a workspace more than a fancy shop. There’s always the sound of someone working or the rustle of pages being turned. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get around to it. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is always busy with people going to the bank or the courts nearby. We have a couple of desks shoved into the corners where we handle the paperwork. It gets a little hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. People come to us when they need things printed or published properly. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how the machines work and how to get things done. It’s a practical place for people who care about books and local publishing work.
