Anil Marble

Kishangarh is the place to be if you are looking for stone, and our shop, Anil Marble, is right in the heart of the Old Industrial Area. It’s a very different kind of environment compared to a regular market. Everything here is covered in a fine layer of white dust from the marble being cut and polished nearby. We have slabs of stone leaning against each other in the yard, and it takes a lot of strength to move them around. The sun beats down on the yard all day, making the stone hot to the touch. Our office is just a small room where we keep our papers and a few samples of the different types of marble we have. It’s not a place for fancy clothes because you’re going to get dusty the moment you walk outside. We deal with trucks coming in from the quarries and customers who are looking for something specific for their homes. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and careful loading. The noise of the saws from the neighboring units is constant, so you have to talk loudly to be heard. We’ve been in the Old Industrial Area for a long time and seen how much the business has changed. Still, the work remains the same—moving heavy stone and making sure it gets to where it needs to go. It’s honest, hard work, and that’s just how we like to do things.
