Ambika Marble Tradres

This yard is located in Kishangarh on the Makrana Road. If you know anything about this area, you know it is the heart of the marble trade in Rajasthan. At Ambika Marble Tradres, we spend our time surrounded by blocks of stone and stacks of tiles. The Makrana Road is always full of trucks carrying massive loads of marble to different parts of the country. It is a very dry and dusty environment to work in every day. We spend a lot of time walking around the yard with customers who are trying to find the right pattern or color for their floors. The sun is very strong out here and it reflects off the stone making it even hotter. We have a small office with a fan but we are rarely in there. We mostly deal with the loading and checking of the slabs before they get sent out. It is a lot of manual labor and we have to be very careful with the stone so it doesn't chip or break. There are marble yards everywhere you look in Kishangarh so it is a very busy atmosphere. We've got different types of marble brought in from the nearby quarries. It is a simple trading business where we buy and sell stone. We have been on this road for quite a while now and we know the routine well. The dust gets everywhere but that is just part of it.
