Agarwal Traders

Agarwal Traders is located at number 37 on Street 4 in Pratap Nagar. This is off Sendra Road in Beawar. It’s a typical residential-commercial mix area. Our building is a simple two-room setup. We’ve been here for years, and the neighborhood has changed quite a bit around us. Street 4 isn't very wide, so we usually tell people to park on Sendra Road and walk in. We deal in general trading, so we have all sorts of items coming in and out. There’s no big warehouse, just the back room where we stack things as neatly as possible. The fan in the main room squeaks a bit, but we’ve stopped noticing it. We start the day by sweeping the front and checking the mail. There’s no big hierarchy here; everyone does a bit of everything, whether it’s loading a crate or filling out a bill. We know the other shopkeepers in Pratap Nagar, and we often borrow change or a stapler from each other. It’s that kind of place. We don't have a big marketing strategy. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a long time and people know where to find us. If someone needs something, they come to Street 4 and shout for us if the door is pulled to. It’s a very local, straightforward operation. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just run our trade from Beawar.
