If you are trying to find A G Engineering Company, you should look behind the RIICO industrial area. Adarsh Nagar is a bit crowded and the streets are narrow. Our place is on the main road at 18/A/19/A. It's basically just a large workshop with a lot of heavy equipment. We do engineering stuff, mostly fixing machines and making small metal parts. There is almost always a smell of welding in the air. We have some lathes and drills that have been with us for over a decade. They still work just fine if you know how to handle them properly. The roof is made of corrugated metal, so when it rains, it’s really loud inside. You can’t even hear yourself talk over the drumming of the water. We just point and nod to each other. We get a lot of walk-ins from the industrial area nearby because people know we are here. Someone’s machine broke down or they need a special bracket made quickly. We take the measurements on a scrap of paper and get right to it. It’s messy work and my clothes have grease stains that never really come out. We don’t mind the mess. It shows we’re working hard. We have a small kettle for making tea in the corner. Usually, we share it with whoever is waiting for their part to be finished. It's just a simple place for work.
