K. Sanga Enterprise

K. Sanga Enterprise is our little shop in the New Market area of Aizawl. We actually call it K. Sanga Variety Store on the sign outside. It’s a busy place because New Market is where everyone goes to get their shopping done. Being up here in the hills, the weather changes fast, and sometimes the mist comes right into the shop during the rainy season. We sell a bit of everything, which is why we call it a variety store. You’ll find household items, small gadgets, and things people need for their daily lives. The shop is pretty small, so we have things hanging from the ceiling and stacked high on the walls. It’s a bit of a maze, honestly, and you have to watch your head. People walk in and sometimes they just look around for a while before asking for something specific. We like the chatter of the market. There is always someone walking by with some news or a story to tell. We start our day early to get the best of the light. Aizawl is a beautiful place, even with all the steep climbs and the crowded streets. We’ve been part of the New Market community for a while now. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just stay behind the counter and help whoever walks through the door. It’s a simple way of living and working. We are just glad to be here and part of the daily bustle of the town.
