Shashi Structural Eng.Pvt.Ltd. operates out of a flat in Kodoli, Maharashtra. It is a bit far from the main city areas, but we like the pace here. Being in a flat means it doesn't feel like a big corporate office, which suits us just fine. Most days start with a lot of phone calls to site supervisors and checking if the materials arrived on time. We deal with structural engineering, so it’s a lot of math and looking at blueprints until our eyes get tired. The weather in this part of Maharashtra can get pretty hot, especially in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we work through the pile of paperwork on our desks. There are about four of us here most days, plus whoever is coming in from a site visit with dust on their shoes. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy furniture or a reception desk. Just some sturdy tables, chairs, and enough coffee to keep us moving. We’ve been doing this for a while, and we’ve gotten used to the quiet routine of Kodoli life. Sometimes we have to drive out quite a bit to see how the work is progressing at different locations, but we always come back here to finish the day’s records. It’s straightforward work without any of the extra noise you get in bigger towns. We just try to get the job done right and stay organized in our own way.
