Even though the name of the company mentions Mumbai, our actual location is out in Mohoj Khurd. That is in the Pathardi area of the Ahmednagar district. It is quite a different setting from the big city life. We are in a more rural part of Maharashtra, which has its own set of challenges and benefits. The post office is Mohoj Khurd, and that is where we do all our day-to-day operations for Techint Hypertherm. There is a lot of open space around here, and the pace of life is definitely slower than what you would find in a place like Mumbai. We have got our setup here and we deal with the local surroundings as best as we can. Getting supplies out to this area takes a bit more planning, but we have got a system that works for us now. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages. We do not have a fancy office building; it is more of a practical site suited for our industrial needs. The roads around Pathardi can be a bit rough, especially during the monsoon season when it rains a lot, but we manage to keep things running. It is a quiet place to work, far from the noise of the city traffic. We focus on the technical side of what we do without too many distractions. Being based in A’Nagar district gives us a different perspective on things. We just carry on with our work every day and make sure everything is sorted.
