You can find us at No. 32 Shivaji Road in Taklimiya. Sharp Computers Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this spot for a good while now. The road outside is always bustling with people and vehicles, which brings a lot of dust into the shop if we leave the door open too long. Inside, it is a different world filled with stacks of monitors, old motherboards, and tangles of cables that seem to have a life of their own. We spend a lot of time squinting at small screens and trying to figure out why a particular piece of hardware isn't behaving. It is quiet work for the most part, punctuated by the occasional beep of a computer starting up. We have a few desks where we do the repairs and a small counter for when people walk in with their broken laptops. The shelves are packed with spare parts and boxes that we haven't gotten around to throwing away yet. Taklimiya is a familiar place for us, and we have gotten to know the other shopkeepers on Shivaji Road pretty well. We don't go in for fancy displays or bright lights. We just have our tools and our benches. If something is broken, we try our best to find out why. It is a steady rhythm of fixing things and keeping up with the newer tech that keeps coming out every few months.
