Prem Co.

Prem Co. is right on the Nagar Pune Highway in Kedgaon. We are very easy to find because we are right near the Sukhakarta Hospital and the fire brigade office. It is a noisy spot with all the trucks and cars zooming by on the highway all day and night. We have been here for a while, and the location is good because people can just pull over when they need something. The office is simple. We have a few chairs for visitors and a desk that is always messy with receipts. We don't do anything too fancy here. We just handle our business and talk to the people who come through the door. Sometimes it’s local folks from Kedgaon, and other times it is people just passing through on the highway. Being near the fire brigade means we hear the sirens quite a bit, which keeps things from being boring. Our work is pretty straightforward. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just open up in the morning, do the jobs that come our way, and close up when the sun goes down. It is a practical way to live. We know our neighbors and the shopkeepers nearby, and that makes the long days on the highway a lot better. It is just a regular local business. Sometimes the dust from the highway gets into everything, but we just wipe it off.
