Mamta Offset

The shop is located in the Kedgaon Industrial Estate in Ahmednagar, at number 123. We spend most of our time here with the printing machines running in the background. The smell of ink is pretty much everywhere once you step inside the workshop. We spend our day checking proofs and loading stacks of paper into the feeders. It gets quite loud when the big offset machines start their run, but that is just how it goes in this part of town. Local people come in with their files, and we see what we can do to get them printed out. It involves a lot of lifting and moving heavy boxes of cardstock around the floor. Some days are slow and we just spend them cleaning the rollers or fixing a paper jam that stopped everything. We have been at this specific spot for a while now. By the time evening comes around, the floor is usually covered in little scraps of paper. We don't have a fancy front office or a team of salespeople. It is just a practical space where the work gets done and things get packed up for pickup. Sometimes we have to stay late if a machine acts up or if an order needs to be ready by the next morning. It is a regular, busy life here among the machines and the paper stacks.
