This is a bit of a quieter area compared to the big cities like Pune or Mumbai. We are located at Santosh Sahebrao Kolhewakud's place right in the village. It is a rural setting in Pimpry Deshmukh and it has its own slow pace of life. We handle all the pharmaceutical work from here, mostly focusing on the things needed in the local Taluka of Khamgom. The post office is nearby in Pimpry Deshmukh, and that is how we get most of our mail and important documents. It is a small operation, really just a couple of people making sure things are running the way they should. We do not have a big corporate office or anything. It is just a practical space where we can sit down and do the work without much distraction. The roads around here can get a bit rough when it rains, but we manage to get things done anyway. Most people in the village know exactly where the place is located. We spend our days coordinating with the people who bring the supplies and checking what is needed around here. It involves a lot of manual tracking and writing things down in our ledgers. Khamgom is the main hub we go to when we need to get bigger supplies or travel for work meetings. Being based here means we are close to the ground. It is just steady, daily work.
