Kids Kingdom Academy

If you find yourself driving down Shani Shaingnur Road in Sonai, you’ll probably see us right near the Yash Petrol Pump. Kids Kingdom Academy isn't tucked away; we are right there where the action is. It can get a bit dusty with the trucks going by, but we keep the gates shut and the play area safe for the little ones. I remember when we first opened, we were worried about being so close to a petrol pump, but it’s actually turned out to be a good landmark for parents who are new to the area. We have a small group of teachers who really know the kids by name. It’s not just a job for them. They live in Ahmednagar or right here in Sonai, so they see the families at the market too. We don't have any of those high-tech gadgets you see in city schools. We use blocks, paper, crayons, and a lot of patience. Sometimes the kids are a handful and the noise levels get pretty high, but that’s just how children are. We spend our weekends mostly cleaning up the classrooms and getting ready for Monday morning. It’s a simple setup, really. We just wanted a place in our neighborhood where parents could drop their kids off and know they are being looked after properly. We do our best with what we have here and just keep things moving along.
