Kavya Foods is right here at Post and Taluka Rahuri. Being in a place like Rahuri means we’re surrounded by people who really understand where food comes from. We started small, just using whatever space we could find, and slowly grew into what we are now. It isn't a high-tech operation. We still do a lot of things by hand because that’s just how we learned to do it. The sun gets pretty hot out here, so the early mornings are our favorite time to work. You can hear the sounds of the town waking up while we’re already busy inside. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements or polished brochures. Most of our customers know us because they’ve seen us around for years. We buy our supplies from people we trust, and we hire workers from the surrounding villages. It feels like a big family most days, even when we’re all tired and ready to quit for the evening. Sometimes we sit out on the porch during our breaks and watch the traffic go by. There’s a lot of pride in seeing our name on the packages, even if we’re just a small business in a quiet Taluka. We don't try to be something we're not. We're just people in Rahuri making food and hoping it's good enough for everyone who buys it. It's a simple way to spend our days and we're used to the routine.
