Assistant Pizzalio

Down in Ahmednagar, you can find us at 31, Panchsheeel Nagar. We are in the Borude Mala area, which is part of Savedi. The business is called Assistant Pizzalio. It’s a local spot where we deal with food, mostly pizzas obviously. Ahmednagar isn't as big as Mumbai, so things move a little slower here, which we mostly like. Our kitchen is where everything happens. We spend a lot of time getting the dough right and making sure the oven is at the proper temperature. Savedi is a growing part of town, so there are always new people moving in and stopping by to see what we are doing. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular brick and mortar setup on a dusty street. We have a few people helping out, and we all just sort of pitch in where it's needed. Sometimes the delivery bikes are lined up outside, and other times it's just quiet while we prep for the dinner rush. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything like that. We just want to make decent food for the people living in Panchsheeel Nagar and the surrounding blocks. It’s hard work, standing by the heat all day, but it’s what we do. If you are ever near Savedi, you’ll probably see our sign hanging out front. We keep the doors open and the flour flying from morning until the last order.
