Running Jvit Agriculture Information And Technology from a house means there’s usually a lot of life going on around the work. We deal with info and tech for farming, but we do it from a place where we can actually see the hills and the fields. It’s not a sterile office environment. Sometimes there are kids playing nearby or neighbors stopping by for a chat while we’re trying to look at data. We use simple computers and try to make sense of what’s happening with the crops around here. Trimbak is a beautiful area, but it can be a bit isolated when you’re trying to run a tech business. We have to deal with power cuts and spotty connections like everyone else. It makes us more practical about what we offer. We don’t have any big slogans or shiny brochures. We just show people how to use what’s available to them. It’s hard work and the hours are long, especially during planting or harvest time.
