Joshi & Sons Spices

Joshi & Sons Spices is located in the Auditor Colony, right near Dadawadi. It’s a quiet enough area, which is nice compared to the more crowded parts of the city. We’re a small family business, and like the name says, it’s mostly just us. We deal with all sorts of spices, which means the whole place usually smells like cumin or turmeric, depending on the day. We’ve been at this location for some time now. Our building is simple—it’s where we store the spices and do all the weighing and packing. We don’t have any fancy machinery; a lot of what we do is still done by hand. It takes longer, but it’s how we’ve always done it. We get to know our customers who come from around the colony or over from the Dadawadi side. We aren't looking to expand into some giant warehouse. We like the size we are because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. Sometimes the kids help out when they aren't in school, making it a real family effort. We don't have a big mission statement or any corporate slogans. We just sell spices to people who need them for their cooking. It’s a basic business, and we try to keep our prices fair and our work honest. That’s about all there is to say about us.
