Isha Pharma

Isha Pharma is tucked away in Mulla Colony, Block No 13, over in New Mukund Nagar. It’s more of a quiet residential area compared to the main market. We like it that way because we get to know everyone who lives nearby. Our shop is small, and we’ve squeezed in as many shelves as possible to make room for all the different medicines people ask for. Sometimes it feels like a bit of a maze in here. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass counters because fingerprints show up so easily. It’s usually just a couple of us working the shift. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We do a lot of local deliveries on a small scooter when people can’t make it out of their houses. The neighborhood kids sometimes play cricket in the street outside, and we have to watch out for stray balls. It’s a very local way of doing business. We keep a ledger for the regulars and try to stay on top of the stock so we don't run out of the basics. It’s a simple life in New Mukund Nagar. We open up at nine, close for a bit in the afternoon for a break, and then stay open until late evening.
