Vijay Raj Engineers

Vijay Raj Engineers is located at 10/14, just opposite Sirhind Steels Ltd. in the Odhav area. If you know where Ashish Cinema is, we are very close to that. Odhav is a pretty gritty part of town with a lot of dust and heavy trucks moving through the narrow streets. Our workshop is right in the middle of it all. We spend our days surrounded by steel and the smell of cutting oil. It is a noisy place because there is always some metal being hit or a machine running nearby. Across the street at Sirhind Steels, there is always a lot of activity too, so the whole block feels very industrial. We have been here long enough that the local tea vendor knows exactly how we like our chai. The office is just a small cabin with a fan and a stack of ledgers that we try to keep organized. It gets pretty dusty, so we have to wipe down the tables almost every hour. We don't really do much in the way of marketing or looking fancy. We just take the jobs as they come and try to do a decent job with the machines we have. The guys here have rough hands and a lot of experience, and we just like to get on with the work without a lot of talking. It is a tough neighborhood, but it is home to our business and we're here every day.
