Machinery Clinic

Down here at Gidc Vatva Phase -1, things are always moving. Our place, Machinery Clinic, is right near the Kiran Bus Stop at Maruti Estate. It’s a handy spot because everyone knows the bus stop. We spend most of our time with grease on our hands. Fixing machines isn't always clean work, but it’s what we do. The shop is filled with tools and parts that we’ve collected over the years. Some are brand new and some have been sitting on the shelf for a rainy day. You can hear the sounds of the industrial estate all day long, which you get used to after a week or so. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you'll just find one of us working on something in the back. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes a big job comes in and the whole floor gets cluttered with parts. It’s part of the process. We’ve seen all kinds of machinery come through these doors. Some are easy fixes and some take a lot of head-scratching. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a local business, so we know a lot of the neighbors around here in the estate. We share tea sometimes when things are quiet. It’s just how we run things here. There isn't any fancy talk, just the sound of wrenches and the smell of old oil.
