Durga Electricals

Durga Electricals is right in the middle of a very busy part of town. We are located opposite the State Bank of India in the Bala Hanuman Gali, just off Gandhi Road and Khodiyanagar Road in Bapunagar. If you know the area, you know how crowded it can get. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of electrical supplies. We have wires, switches, bulbs, and everything else hanging from the walls or stacked in the corners. It is a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where everything is located. The street outside is always full of people, rickshaws, and bikes, so there is a lot of shouting and honking going on all day. It is a very lively atmosphere. We spend a lot of time helping people find the right fuse or explaining how a certain fixture works. We do not have any fancy displays; it is just boxes and products everywhere you look. Most of our customers are from the neighborhood, people we see every week. We have a small counter where we do the billing, and there is usually a stack of old ledgers sitting there too. It is a very traditional way of doing business. We do not worry about being modern or sleek. We just focus on having what people need when they walk in from the heat of Gandhi Road. It is a bit messy and very loud, but it is our shop.
