Urvashi Beauty Parlour & Classes

You can find us over at Shantam Complex, specifically at F-2/3. We are right near the Vishram Nagar bus stop on Gurukul Road, which is a very convenient spot for the girls who come for classes. Since we do both beauty work and teaching, the place is usually buzzing with activity. One side of the room is set up for the parlor and the other side is where the students practice. It can get a little crowded when we have a full class and customers waiting at the same time, but we make it work. The noise from the bus stop is a constant background sound, but we’ve gotten used to it. The complex itself is quite busy, so there’s always people walking past the window. We’ve decorated the walls with some simple pictures, but mostly it’s just shelves of products and mirrors. We don’t use any corporate talk here; we just teach the way we were taught and handle our clients with a bit of care. Sometimes we run out of tea or the water cooler needs a refill, but these are just the small things that happen in a real working shop. We enjoy seeing the students get better at their skills and eventually move on to start their own things. It’s a busy, noisy, and productive place to spend the day, and we wouldn't have it any other way in this part of Ahmedabad.
