UNICON AUTOMATION & CONTROL is our small business located at 218 Devnandan Mega Mall. We are right on Ashram Road, across from the Sanyas Ashram and near the M.J. Library. It’s a very busy part of the city. The mall is always full of people, but our unit is a bit more tucked away so we can get our work done. We deal with control systems and automation parts. It’s a lot of technical components and pieces that most people wouldn’t recognize. We have been here for some time now and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Usually, we are busy answering the phone or helping a customer who needs a specific part for their machinery. We don't have any fancy marketing people. It’s just us. We keep a lot of catalogs around and our desks are usually covered in papers and small parts. Sometimes it gets a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Being near the library and the ashram is nice because it gives us some good landmarks to tell people when they are trying to find us. We just show up every morning, open the shop, and see what needs to be done. It’s a simple way to run a business. We focus on the parts and the customers that come through the door. It is just a practical way to earn a living in this city.
