Umiya Power Control

Umiya Power Control is located at Shed-25 within the Bansari Industrial Estate. We’re right on Adinath Road in Odhav, just across from the police station. Having the police station nearby makes the area feel a bit safer, though it’s a very busy road. The shed is quite large, which is good because power control equipment takes up a lot of room. There’s always the sound of metal being worked or components being fitted into place. We keep the big sliding doors open most of the day to let some air in, though that also lets in the dust from the street. The office part is just a small partitioned area in the corner where we keep the computer and the files. It gets pretty loud in there when the machinery is running, but you get used to it. We aren't much for fancy titles or corporate talk; everyone just chips in where they are needed. Sometimes we have to work late to finish a big panel, and we usually just order some food in and keep going. Odhav is a rugged part of town, full of factories and workshops just like ours. We’ve been in this shed for a while now and know all the neighboring business owners. It’s a simple setup where we focus on building things that work. No glossy brochures or sales pitches here, just a lot of hard work and copper wire.
