Soorvi Speech And Hearing Clinic

This clinic in Ahmedabad is where we spend most of our days helping people with their hearing and speech. It’s located in a busy area, so there’s always noise outside, which is ironic given what we do. We have some equipment for testing ears and helping people speak better, and we use it all day long. A lot of parents bring their kids here when they notice something isn't quite right with how they talk. We also see older people who are struggling to hear the television or their grandkids. It’s a small space, nothing too big or flashy. We try to keep the appointments on track, but sometimes we run a bit late if a session takes longer than we thought. That’s just how it goes with this kind of work. Ahmedabad is a big city, but our clinic feels a bit more personal. We sit down with people and really listen to what’s bothering them. There aren't any big speeches or sales pitches here. We just look at the tests and tell people what we see. Most days are spent sitting in the small rooms, working through different exercises or checking hearing aids. It’s quiet work for the most part. We like being in this part of town and seeing familiar faces return for their follow-ups. It’s a steady job and we try to do it right every time. It's what we know how to do.
