Our little shop is tucked away at 689/4522 in the GHB area, right behind the Somnath Mandir. If you know where Manpasand is in Bapunahar, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a busy spot with people coming and going from the temple all the time. Inside, there are usually piles of fabric sitting on the counters and a few sewing machines going. We spend most of our time measuring lengths of cloth and trying to get the stitching just right. It gets a bit crowded when more than three people walk in at once, but we make it work. The light isn't always great in the back, so we move closer to the front door when we need to see the colors clearly. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time now. People stop by just to chat sometimes while they’re out doing their marketing. It’s not a big fancy showroom like you see in the malls. We just have our racks and our tools. Sometimes the threads get tangled or we run out of a specific button, and someone has to run out to find more. It’s just how it is running a small place like this. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people just know we’re behind the Mandir. We start early and stay until the street lights come on and the evening prayers are done. It’s just how things go for us here in Bapunahar day after day.
