Safal Boutique

Safal Boutique is right here in Shree Gantakaran Market. It gets pretty loud and crowded in Sarangpur, especially on weekends when everyone comes out to shop for the upcoming festivals. We have been at C-15 for a while now. Some days it feels like we spend more time talking to the neighbors in the market than actually sewing, but that is just how it is around here. You walk past the Ncm Sarangpur area and you will find us tucked in among the other clothing shops. It is not a huge space, but we have enough room for the machines and all the fabric rolls that seem to pile up no matter how much we try to organize them. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, but we try to keep the finished clothes covered up and clean. We mostly handle traditional stuff, doing stitching and fixing things for people who live nearby or work in the market. It is a lot of work with the needle and thread, and my eyes usually get tired by the evening. We usually keep the doors open to catch a breeze, though in the summer that doesn't really help much. People come in looking for a specific fit or a pattern they saw somewhere else. We just do our best with what they bring us. It is a simple life in the market, really. Just working through the orders and making sure the shop is locked up.
