Smart Shapers is based out of Meghani Nagar, specifically in the GHB area at Block 114/2728. We are located right behind the Rameshwar Police Chowki. Having the police station nearby makes the area feel pretty safe and easy to navigate for anyone coming to see us. The block we are in is part of the older housing board buildings. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but once you find the police chowki, we are just a short walk from there. The workshop is simple and functional. We don't have any air conditioning, so it can get quite warm in the summer months. We just open the doors and use fans to keep the air moving. Our daily routine is pretty much the same: we come in, check what needs to be done, and start working. There’s no big corporate structure here. It’s just a few people doing manual work and making sure things are right. We often chat with the people living in the GHB blocks as they pass by. It’s a very local feel here. We don’t spend money on advertising; most people just know we’re here behind the chowki. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and we’ve been doing it in this same spot for a long time now. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay busy.
