Patidar Seeds is located on the Ahmedabad-Godhra Highway, specifically in the Sarkhej area, near Sarkhej-Okaf. It’s a busy spot with a lot of heavy traffic moving between the cities. Our building is a bit of a warehouse and a bit of an office. We deal with seeds all day long. Depending on the time of year, we are either very busy or things are a bit quieter. The air in the warehouse usually has that earthy smell of seeds and jute sacks. We have bags piled up high and a few people moving them around with trolleys. It’s not a polished corporate environment. The floors are concrete and there is always a bit of dust. We spend our time talking to farmers and suppliers. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking the stock. The highway outside is always humming. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls, just some charts and old notes. We’ve been operating out of Sarkhej for quite a while now. The people who work here live nearby. It’s a straightforward business where we just focus on getting the seeds out to the people who need them for their fields. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come to see us, you’ll see us in our regular clothes, likely in the middle of a task. It’s a steady job and we like the routine of the seasons and the crops.
