Sahara Speech & Hearing Clinic

You can find the Sahara Speech & Hearing Clinic on the upper level of the Jyoti Plaza Complex. We occupy units 3 and 4. A good way to find us is to look for Murlidhar Dairy at the Shyamal Cross Road; we are right above them. Being on the upper floor is actually quite helpful because it keeps us a bit away from the heavy traffic noise of the cross road. Our daily routine involves a lot of hearing assessments and speech therapy sessions. The clinic is set up in a very simple way with a couple of rooms for testing and a small area for people to wait. We are a small team and we’ve been working together at this location for several years. Shyamal Cross Road is always bustling, so there’s a lot of energy in the area. We see a lot of parents bringing their kids in, and we also have many elderly residents from the neighborhood who come to see us. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We don't use any complicated medical talk when we explain things to our patients. We just tell them what the tests show in plain English. The stairs up to the clinic can be a bit much for some of our older visitors, so we try to be patient with everyone. It’s just a local spot that has become part of the daily life in this part of the city. We enjoy being here and seeing the same faces come back over the years.
