Our office is in Shapath - 3, unit 301, right near the Grand Bhagwati Hotel on S.G. Highway. It is a very busy part of Ahmedabad. There is always a lot of activity on the road outside. We work in the life sciences field, which sounds fancy, but mostly it means we spend a lot of time looking at data and coordinating with labs. We’ve been in this building for several years. The space is filled with documents and some specialized equipment we keep for testing purposes. It’s not a huge office, so we all sit pretty close to each other. We have a small pantry in the corner where we make coffee. Most of our days are quite routine. We come in, check the messages, and get to work on the current projects. Being near the Grand Bhagwati is handy because we can tell people to just look for the hotel and they find us easily. The building has a lot of other companies, so there is always someone in the elevator. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the science and the regulations we have to follow. It’s important work, even if it’s mostly done at a desk. Sometimes we stay late when we have a deadline, but usually we head out before the evening traffic gets too crazy. It’s a good group of people here.
