Receptionist

I spend my days at B-14 in Bhoomi Apartments, which is located in the Bapunagar area of Ahmedabad. It is a lively spot, especially being so close to Kirti Dairy in Hirawadi. You can often smell the activity from the dairy when the wind blows the right way. Working as a receptionist here means I see a lot of people coming and going. The building is a bit older, but it has a lot of character. Ahmedabad gets very hot in the summer, so I am always grateful for the shade near my desk. I have a small calendar and a stack of registers that I keep updated. People stop by to ask for directions or to leave notes for the residents and businesses in the block. I don't need a fancy title or a big office to feel like I am doing something right. Just a desk and a bit of conversation every day is enough for me.
