Our setup here in Bandra West is tucked away in the Fantasia Building on Sherley Rajan Road. It’s just off Carter Road, which everyone knows is a great place to walk in the evenings, but we’re usually stuck inside until the sun goes down. We’re in Flat Number 5, so it feels more like a home-turned-office than a big bank branch. Being near Abhudaya Bank helps people find us, though we still get folks calling for directions. Mumbai is always loud and fast, but our little corner is surprisingly quiet once you get inside. We have a small group of people working here, mostly keeping our heads down and making sure the accounts are in order. The walk from the main road is nice when it’s not raining too hard. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with all the files and desks, but we make it work. We’ve got a window that looks out onto the street, so we can watch the world go by when we need a break. It’s not a fancy corporate suite with a view of the ocean, but it gets the job done for us. We don’t go in for big speeches or polished presentations. We just handle the day-to-day banking tasks and try to keep our desks organized. If you’re in the neighborhood near the coast, you might pass by our building. It’s a simple life here in Bandra, just working through the queue and heading home.
