Rama Industries

We are located over in the Gujarat Housing Board area, specifically at 68 527 in Khokhara. It is near the Amraiwadi post office here in Ahmedabad. This is an industrial part of town, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks going by. We have been operating out of this spot for a long time. It is a practical space. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that because we spend all our time on the floor working. There is a lot of grease and metal around. It is honest work. The heat in Ahmedabad can be tough in the summer, especially inside the workshop, but we have some big fans that help. We make parts and supply them to other businesses. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years. We know each other's families. It feels more like a small community than a big corporation. We just focus on getting the orders out on time. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves, which takes up a whole afternoon. That is just part of the job. We don’t spend money on big signs. People who need what we make know where to find us. We have been here through many changes in the neighborhood and we plan to stay for many more.
