Rakshak Guard

Rakshak Guard is over at A-16 Gulab Tower, right across from J. G. Campus on Sola Road. We keep people at the gates and walk the rounds. Most of our guys have been doing this for years now. It isn't a fancy job, but someone has to stay up at night while the city sleeps. We get a lot of students from the campus walking by during the day. Our office is small, mostly just a desk and some chairs where we sort out the schedules. Managing shifts can be a real headache sometimes. People call in sick or the bus is late, but we make it work. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us making sure the gates stay shut when they're supposed to. Sometimes it gets quiet, especially when the traffic on Sola Road dies down late in the evening. We keep our logs on paper mostly because it's easier to check when we're in a hurry. If you walk past Gulab Tower, you'll probably see one of us sitting there. We've stayed in this spot because it's central and people know where to find us. It’s a basic operation. We show up, put on the uniform, and watch the property. That is pretty much the whole story of what happens here every day. It's not about being the biggest name out there, just about being there when the shift starts.
