Rakesh P Thakkar

I’m Rakesh P Thakkar. My place is up on the 4th floor, unit 403, in the Shivdhara Flat building. If you know where the Behrampura Post Office is, I’m right opposite that. It’s also across from Liladhar Bhatt Hall, so it’s pretty hard to miss if you’re in this part of Ahmedabad. I’ve been working from this office for a while. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow sometimes, so I often just take the stairs to stay moving. Ahmedabad gets quite hot in the summer, but being on the 4th floor gives me a bit of a breeze if I open the windows. I don’t have a big team or anything. It’s mostly just me handling things from my desk. I don’t see the point in having a fancy office when the work is what matters. Most people who come by are locals from Behrampura or nearby. I try to keep things organized, though my desk might not always look like it. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of noise from the street, but I’ve gotten used to it over the years. I chose this spot because it’s central and people know the landmarks like the post office. I’m not trying to be a big company. I’m just Rakesh, doing my work and living my life here at 380022.
