Our shop is at number 30 and 31 in the Shreeji Shopping Centre. It’s a busy spot right near the Odhav Police Station. If you come by, you’ll see stacks of metal enclosures and rolls of wire everywhere. It is not the tidiest place, but we know where everything is kept. Usually, there are two or three of us working on a panel at the same time. The heat in Odhav can get pretty intense in the summer, so the fans are always going. We spend most of the day stripping wires and tightening terminals. It’s repetitive work, but you have to pay attention so nothing shorts out later. We get a lot of walk-ins because of the location near the station. Sometimes people just want to ask a question about a switch or a breaker. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. Usually, the floor is covered in little bits of colorful wire insulation by the end of the shift. We sweep it up and start again the next morning. It’s just a regular local business. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us because they saw the sign while driving past or someone told them we were here. We just keep our heads down and get the panels wired up as they come in.
