Q.I. Press Controls India Pvt. Ltd. is out in the Ashwamegh Industrial Estate. You can find us at Block No. 394, Plot No 2. We are right across from the M. M. Desai Petrol Pump on the Sarkhej-Bavla Highway. This is the Changodar area in Sanand, which is very industrial. It’s all about factories and big trucks around here. We work on control systems for printing presses, which is a very specific kind of job. The office is part of a larger warehouse-style building. It gets quite hot in this part of the country, so we spend a lot of time making sure the cooling works. It’s a long commute for some of us, but we’ve been here for a long time and the routine is set. We have a few desks for the technical stuff and a larger area where we handle the equipment. It’s not a polished corporate office. We have grease on our hands sometimes and there are blueprints scattered everywhere. We usually eat lunch together in a small room off to the side. The highway is always loud with the sound of trucks heading out of Sanand. We’ve watched the industrial estate grow quite a bit since we first moved in. It’s a hardworking environment and we just focus on getting the press controls right for every job.
