Professional Firm

Our office is located at C Ff 7 Abhimanyu Flats on Shasshtinagar Road in Ahmedabad. It’s an older building, and you have to walk up a few flights of stairs to get to us. The Professional Firm has been based here for some time, and we've become quite familiar with the rhythms of the neighborhood. In the afternoons, the smell of food from the nearby apartments drifts in through the windows. It’s a quiet enough place to focus, though you can always hear the scooters zooming by on Shasshtinagar Road. Inside, it's pretty simple—just some desks, chairs, and a few filing cabinets that have been here since the start. We don't really do much in the way of advertising or trying to look bigger than we are. It’s just a handful of us working together, usually with a radio playing softly in the background. We spend our mornings sorting through files and making sure the paperwork is in order. Ahmedabad gets dusty, so there’s always a bit of cleaning to do before we can really get settled in. We keep some extra chairs for visitors, but mostly it’s just us. We don’t have a lot of rules about how things look, as long as the work gets finished. It’s a steady sort of life, coming in every morning and seeing the same group of people. We take our breaks when we can, usually heading down for a quick snack at the corner stall.
