Prakash Panchal. My shop is at B-3 in the Narankripa Society. We are located right near Ankini School, which is a big help when people are trying to find us for the first time. If you see the school, you’re basically there. We’re also just opposite Janatanagar in the Chandkheda area. This part of town has a lot of families, so it’s usually pretty lively in the mornings when the kids are heading to class. I’ve been here at this address for a long time, and I’ve seen the whole neighborhood change around me. Chandkheda used to feel like the edge of the city, but now it’s right in the middle of everything. Our place isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a standard unit in the society. Inside, it’s where I spend most of my hours making things work. I don’t spend much on advertising because word of mouth around the society usually keeps me busy enough. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the school bell rings. I prefer this kind of local setup over some big commercial mall. It’s easier to talk to people and you get to know the regulars. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There isn't much more to it than that. Just a local man in a local society trying to stay useful.
