Placement

You can find us over at B 73 in the Sardarkunj Society. We are located in the Shahpur area of Ahmedabad, right near the Bahai Centre which is a pretty well-known landmark if you are from around here. We just go by the name Placement. It is a busy part of the city and there is always something happening outside our doors. The society itself is quite old and has that classic Ahmedabad feel to it. We have set up our office inside one of the units there. It’s not a big corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. We have some desks, a few old computers, and plenty of chairs for people who come in. Working in placements means we talk to a lot of people and handle a fair bit of paperwork every day. The Bahai Centre being so close makes it easy for people to find us when they are coming from other parts of the city. We have our routines and we stick to them. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the AC or the fans running while we sort through the files. It’s a very grounded, local business. We don’t really do anything fancy or promotional. We just stay here in Sardarkunj Society and try to keep things moving along for everyone involved. It’s just a regular job for us and we like being part of the neighborhood.
