Our little spot is B/16 in the Parth Apartments. If you know the Ramdev Nagar Cross Road in Ahmedabad, you know how busy it gets around here. It is always noisy with the traffic and the people walking by. Being in an apartment building means it stays a bit cooler than the street, which is a relief in the summer. We have been here for a good while, just running these Physics sessions in the back rooms. It’s not a massive place, so things can get a bit crowded when everyone shows up at once. We usually have to shuffle the chairs around to make sure everyone can see the board. The walls are a plain off-white color and we’ve got a few diagrams taped up that are starting to curl at the edges. It’s just a regular workspace where we get down to the math and the theories. Usually, there is a bit of a wait for the elevator, so most of the younger guys just take the stairs. We keep a big water jar in the corner because it gets dry talking for hours. It’s just a local operation, nothing flashy. People find us because they live nearby or they’ve heard about us from someone else in the building. We just open up in the afternoon and stay until the sun goes down and the streetlights come on. It is a simple routine that works for us.
