Our small unit, Agri Flours, is tucked away at Plot No. 4005 in Phase-4 of GIDC Vatva. It’s a bit further out than some of the other phases, but it suits us just fine. We spend our days dealing with grains and milling. There is always a fine layer of dust in the air here, which is pretty much expected when you’re grinding things down all day long. It’s a very practical operation. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big reception area. If you walk in, you’re likely to run into someone carrying a sack or checking the machinery. We just focus on getting the flour right. It’s repetitive work, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that we like. The machines hum all day, and we keep an eye on everything to make sure nothing gets stuck. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill in the country or anything. We just want to do our job well for the people who rely on us. Most of us here have been doing this for a long time, so we know the smells and the sounds of the equipment by heart. Life in Phase-4 is busy, and there’s always a lot of trucks moving around, but we stay focused on what’s happening inside our plot. It’s hard work, but it’s honest, and it keeps us going. No fluff, just flour and grit. We don't need much else to stay satisfied with our day.
