Bapa Sitaram Ice Factory

We are located at Plot No. 25+26/20 in Phase-1 of GIDC, Vatva, and if you have ever been around this part of the industrial estate during the summer, you know how hot it gets. Bapa Sitaram Ice Factory is basically just a place where we keep the machines running all day and night to turn water into big blocks of ice. It is a noisy job and the floor is almost always wet, but that is just how an ice plant works. Most of us here have been doing this for a long time, so we don't really think about the cold air coming off the tanks anymore. We just focus on getting the blocks out of the molds and loaded onto the trucks that wait in the yard. Sometimes the machines act up or the power goes out, which is a headache in this heat, but we just fix what needs fixing and keep going. The neighbors around us are all busy with their own factories, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the road. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just a workspace with heavy machinery and a lot of ice. People come by, pick up what they need, and head back out into the traffic. It is simple work, really, just making sure there is enough ice for whoever shows up at the gate.
