Paras Polymers

You can find Paras Polymers over at Laxmi Chayya, 688, Budhwar Peth, right opposite the Dakshin Mukhi Maruti Mandir. It’s a busy area with lots of people walking by all the time. Being near the temple means there is always something going on outside. We work with plastics and polymers, mostly selling different types of materials. The shop is filled with various rolls and containers. It smells a bit like plastic in here, but we’re used to it. We’ve been in Budhwar Peth for quite some time. The building is an older style, which gives it some character. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the inventory. People come in looking for specific types of materials for their own small businesses or home projects. We help them find what they need from the stacks. Sometimes we have to dig through the back to find a specific color or thickness. It’s manual work. We don't use much fancy software; mostly just a ledger and some receipts. We have a small desk near the entrance where we sit. It’s a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in, but we manage to clear a path eventually. We like being part of the local market. It’s a simple business. We buy material, we store it, and we sell it. That's pretty much the whole story. We keep regular hours and close on Sundays to rest up.
