Bhavani Trading Co

Bhavani Trading Co is our small business in the Paldi area. You can find us at 2 Akshat Avenue, which is right behind the Indian Bank at Prabhudas Char Rasta. It’s a crowded part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. We trade in a variety of goods that we get from bigger suppliers. The shop itself is quite packed with boxes and crates. Sometimes I have to move three things just to get to one item in the back. My father ran this place for a long time before I took over the daily operations. It’s mostly just me and a helper who handles the heavy lifting. The floor is old and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time. We don't have a website or any of that modern stuff. People just know where we are because we've been in Naranagar for years. The bank next door makes it easy to give directions, at least. We spend the day checking lists and making sure the deliveries are right. It’s a lot of manual work and handwriting receipts. On hot days, we keep the front door open to catch whatever breeze comes through the street. It’s a basic way to make a living, but it works for us.
